The Georgia Aquarium houses more than a hundred thousand animals and represents several thousand species, all of which reside in 10 million US gallons (38,000 m3) of marine and salt water.  The aquarium's animals are displayed in seven galleries and exhibits: Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest, River Scout, Dolphin Celebration, Pier 225, and Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone. Each corresponds to a specific environment.

AT&T Dolphin Celebration 
The presentation is a fun and exciting experience that showcases dolphin behavior and their relationship with their trainers while incorporating important education messages.  AT&T Dolphin Celebration and Under the Boardwalk are included in Aquarium general admission and lasts approximately 20-25 minutes. Seating is first come first served, based on available seating. Guests are advised to arrive at the theater at least 30-45 minutes prior to the show time.  Showtimes for AT&T Dolphin Celebration vary daily. Under the Boardwalk
This features the incredible California sea lions of Georgia Aquarium. These highly social pinnipeds and their dedicated trainers will show you how they work together in a live training session – and why this is such an important part of animal care here at Georgia Aquarium. Under the Boardwalk is included in Aquarium general admission and lasts approximately 20-25 minutes. Seating is first come first served, based on available seating. Up-close animal encounters
Up-close animal encounters are thrilling multi-sensory opportunities for guests to experience the awe of ocean-dwelling creatures first hand. Georgia Aquarium offers several exciting experiences that educate, engage and create memorable connections between people and animals.  Guests ages 7 and up have the option to participate in our Penguin Encounter, Sea Otter Encounter or Dolphin Encounter. All Animal Encounter participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult, and there is a maximum of 3 children (under 16 years of age) per paying adult. Guests under the age of 18 must have the program liability waiver and Animal Encounter program guidelines signed and dated by their parent or court appointed legal guardian.

Behind The Seas Tours
Explore the secrets of Georgia Aquarium! Get a backstage look at our most popular exhibits from a view that only a Behind the Seas Tour can give you. Tours offer the opportunity to come closer than ever before to our animal inhabitants, featuring visits to the topside decks of Ocean Voyager and Tropical Diver. Additionally, guests will get to visit our Correll Center, commissary and Ocean Voyager filtration room, where we house all the equipment to filter our 6.3 million gallon habitat.
Tour Times: Daily, every half hour from 10:30am - 4pm and every hour from 4pm - 7pm.
Pricing: $15 for Nonmembers.     Tour Length: 45 minutes
All ages are welcomed on this tour. High heels, food, drinks and strollers are not permitted on this tour. There are no restroom stops along the tour route. Cameras are allowed.
